Impending Return and Q and A

It's been nearly four months since the last PoE chapter went up, and I owe you all an explanation why:
- final community college semester
- process of entering University
- summer vacation
Simple as that.
Still, I apologize for the really long wait. Also, I must admit that at this point, I'll just have to take the Disney XD approach to new chapter releases: they'll be up when they're done. But don't worry; I will finish this story, no matter how long it takes.
In the meantime, I'll be taking questions. So lay them on me.

Here's my submission.
This is Pelame, the main character of my fic "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon - Planes of Existence." She likes stories fictional and fact, the latter being her inspiration to pursue the career of a historian. On the way to achieving her dream she ended up discovering parts of her own family history, good and bad. No more details on that will be given here, so read up.

Pinna's the male Vaporeon and Neve's the female Glaceon. Obviously Pelame's parents are a pleasant part of her family history, and also the part that needed no deep digging to discover. It had been awkward for the two to come to their understanding when it comes to raising a child, overcoming the hurdles posed by their two very different cultures' ideas on raising children. Still, they raised a very good girl.

This is Blessing, one of Pelame's university friends, and by far the vainest one. She's not so vain that she won't do things that get her "dirty" or anything prissy like that; her vanity is simply of the type that compels her to be proud of her body and want everyone to see it (particularly the part of it she's showing in her bio). Still, she's good company to have around. It's a mystery as to why she wants a career in architecture rather than modeling, as everyone believes the latter ought to have been her calling.

This is Morikain, Pelame's bitter rival. Well, at first he was, but during their employment at TIGHS, they worked things out and became friends. Since then (and since Pelame ended up quitting her job for reasons explained in the story proper), he's been loyal to Pelame and will do anything he can to help her save the world from what (and who) is threatening it. He currently resides with Tastebud, where he trains in the art of Shadow Power.
It's going well.
Oh, and the Gengar who's training him is Tastebud. As a shadow himself, he's a master of the craft. However, possibly because if it being a natural aspect of his species or something else to be covered, he can't resist playing around with his pupil every now and then. But despite this, he's still the best teacher of Shadow Power in the world.

This is Clémenteau, but you can call her Cleo for short. She's Pelame's daughter and a very joyful girl who likes others to be happy. She does what she can to make others happy, no matter what that may be.

This is Vand, Pelame's son (and the firstborn in the family). He's Cleo's older brother, but with the currently family situation, he might as well be her dad. The stress of that is the reason for his current stressed-out and irritable personality. Cleo handles it just fine; she just hopes the day comes where he can be happy again. And deep down, so does he.
